Surreal No More

We met Bing-Bing today.  She’s sleeping now, as I hope to be soon.  She’s had it rough, this little one.  She’s cried, at times quite inconsolable.  But she’s laughed a little too.  I think the inconsolable crying came when she realized she wasn’t going back with the nannies and was stuck with us.  But she seems to think we’re okay for a couple of weirdos who look, smell, and talk funny.  I’ll send pics when it isn’t dark in the room and maybe I can think.  She likes her pacifier – sometimes in her mouth, but sometimes she studies it carefully, turning it over and eyeing it.  Either way, it pacifies.

(I am posting their emailed updates as they come in- they are having problems accessing the blog, and we may have to continue this system until they get to Guangzhou.)
