We’ll be spending one night in Hong Kong, then onto Chongqing.  We’ll be staying at the Golden Resources Hotel in Chongqing and the White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou.  By the way, CCAI (our adoption agency) tells us that the White Swan is not closing for renovations until May, as opposed to the earlier rumors of December.  We will receive Snowflake on Sunday in Chongqing and will stay there for about a week, while we wait to get her Chinese passport.  Then we go to Guangzhou to get her U.S. visa.  Finally, we fly home and start a new family life.

  3. Hi!
If Maggie is your guide, will you please tell her we say hello and will be back this Winter? Lauren loved her and remembered her when we saw her in Colorado in June.
We can’t wait to meet Snowflake!

  4. Hey, Golden Resources. I think I walked past it on the way back to the bus after our Metcha moment. If it’s the one I think it is, it is literally 500 ft from the Civil Affairs Office. Lucky you!

  5. Nice!! White Swanny Goodness – or at least the excellent tradition of it all. Bon Voyage!

  6. Hope you will bring Snowflake to Acadia to visit us! We can’t wait until you get back! Colleen and Anne
