No dual adoption

I stopped by the pet store today to learn that the kitty-girl was adopted by someone else.  Boo hoo.  I really fell for her and she seemed to respond to us.  Clearly, however, there was competition and we lost out.  I don’t think I could handle the whole waiting child deal, if it’s anything like this.  This only went on for three days and was only for a kitty.  Jeez Louise.  I gotta say, though, I’m really glad she found a home and is out of that cage.  She was clearly sad there.  So, while I’m happy for her, I’m sad for us.

  2. I can only hope that every adult cat awaiting adoption has more than one loving family waiting to adopt them! There are so many adult cats up for adoption!
I swore after the demise of my 6 year old cat, Bbailey that I would adopt no more pets…. none, zero, nil……. yeah right….. can’t see that lasting much longer!

  3. Shoot! I’m sad, too. Sorry, you. Xo
